“Our New Normal”

” Our ‘new normal’ is actually a much – needed reset”. This is the time when we do realize how much we need our homes, and how important it is for them to work for us in the way that suits us best. Now is a great time to rethink the formal living or dining room that you rarely use and turn in into your home office,yoga studio, game room , meditation room or what ever works for you the best.”

Given it’s such a sensitive and uncertain time, Life is unfolding at home, and we are here for tips to make it more comfortable and functional. Design is not just about aesthetics but about the feeling it evokes. We are trying to share what we are good at with people who find it valuable. We know it does not fix everything , but I hope it help everyone feel better as they stay home right now.

Having a positive space is a great way to stay inspired to take a moment for yourself. We all know the saying, ‘Out of sight out of mind.’ Visual reminders can be a powerful motivator. 

And as it’s in our home, we want it to reflect who we are.

Here are a few things you can put into your space to make it positive:

– Cozy cushions

– Mala Beads in case you want to meditate for self introspection

– Something to keep you warm (may be a shawl)

– Something green and living (a plant)

– Crystals or sage (to clear the energy in the space) 

– A incense stick  (for nice aroma)

– Singing Bowl, bell or symbols for sound (this helps you clear the energy in the space)

– A Diary (to clear up your mind , write what you think)

– A yoga mat (to practice yoga which allow you to focus on primary things )

Remember — there is always a personal experience once you try these things. The space which we are talking about is meant to bring calm and inspire you to connect with yourself. Have fun with it!
